Fight for Woodstock

Thank You for VOTING BENDER

We would like to thank the students who attended the meeting held earlier in the day.  It was a long afternoon that made for some sore butts but it was awesome to see so many of you there and we hope it was informative, don't hesitate to come in and talk to Jim if you have concerns:~)

We would also like to point out that as we were informed by several students from various schools in attendance, students were warned before hand that they were not allowed to cheer, applaud or show support in any way. In fact, on the record, students were asked not to applaud during the introductory portion of the meeting and were warned about the risk of losing marks in their Civics course were they to fail to comply. This philosophy of gagging our youth is in stark contrast to the approach taken at the general debates where in our experience things become quite heated at times accompanied by all manors of cheering & jeering. Come on people let's keep it real, there is no Santa, and our kids aren't stupid!

Your vote does make a difference and what you have to say does count.
