The Marijuana Party of Canada Oxford Riding Thanks You For Voting BENDER! You Roll  !!!...

We would like to thank the Oxford County Federation of Agriculture for allowing us all the opportunity to speak and to hear your concerns. I'm sure that the refreshments were greatly appreciated by everyone. Thank you for the T-shirts too! We'll wear them with pride!

WOW! To say that this debate was exciting is would be a gross understatement, and the trail of deception and lies left in it's wake is just plain gross.

Below please click on the article published in the January 13th issue of the sentinel Review.

This article specifically states that candidates were directly asked whether their party would support the grains and oilseeds group's proposed Risk Management and that every candidate except Kay Sargent, who passed, echoed the support that was offered by liberal Greg Mordue.

It would seem that the news reporter has a hearing complication and did not hear Dave Makenzie state not once, but twice, that he could not say that he supported the plan because he was unsure of his party policy. Dave tows the party line, he really stands up for what he believes in, too bad he doesn't know what that is.

To the tune of "boo's" from an audience of over 300 starving farmers, Dave's answers were recorded on video tape by several groups including A Channel News, The NDP and of course the Marijuana Party.

After attempting to contact the local newspaper and leaving many messages over the course of several days my persistence paid off and I was able to speak to a real person who told me that he would look into it and get back to me. He did not.

Do not allow your say to be hijacked by the corporate media. These guys are way more concerned about where the money and favours are coming from than they are about honest journalism and the democratic process.

The Farmers raised allot of concerns that we think must take priority in this election, here in Oxford and across the country. These questions were very difficult and we understand that although there are no easy answers, standing idle accomplishes nothing.

We support our farmers 100%. There could be no more urgent cause than this one.

With bigger tax breaks for grocery stores and factories than there are for farmers, it won't be long before we realize that tax breaks to big enterprises will not put food in our stomachs after the farmers can no longer afford to.

We would like to see the farmers represented in Ottawa, and in fact we think they should be harnessing the might they showed us with the 401 blockade and directing it straight to the House of Commons.

We think that every party should have provisions within their platform to work with the farmers on their proposed agenda. It is certainly beyond the political battery to assume that they know what is right or wrong for farmers.

We depend on our farmers to eat! Our food does not come from a grocery store or a factory, it comes from a farm.

We cannot support a party that does not support farmers!
