Letter By Jim Bender of the Marijuana Party of Canada Jan 31 2007
Our party is the only party that accepts
individuality, has a leader that accepts all for who they are,and allows its'
members to speak freely without fear of having our heads lopped off.
If one of us were ever elected, i would like to think that we would be able to
represent all people, not just a few, and that people would come first over the
needs of corporate Canada.
Most of us have been tossed from the mainstream because we have big mouths.
Many of us were never welcomed by them. Most of us just do not believe the lies
they are telling us anymore.
For 35 years we have heard that marijuana was on the verge of
decriminalization/legalization.
I look at the NDP and think to myself: how could they possibly govern the nation
when they have no idea how to raise the money to do it?
Although they like to believe they are the answer, they are nothing like the
little mouse that came from Sasakatchewan. He died and took his party with him.
Now the NDP posture as though they are the Greens, or the Liberals, or even the
CONservatives, dependant on what day of the week it is, and who they are trying
to impress.
Layton has applied his best to providing a good blow job to Harper. This is his
job now to back up the CONs.
The mainstream comes courting every now and then.
We've had a few people swallowed by the chasm of great promises made.
We must have something interesting enough for even them to come to see us.
Perhaps it is our unrestricted ability to speak that disturbs them.
Perhaps it is that we are all really just people, and that Marijuana is just a
binding factor in our quest for some honesty in government.
Perhaps it is because Marijuana like Blair says, is a symbol of hatred, racism
and lies perpetrated by the church and government against its' own people.
Like testing nuclear bombs on prisoners, or testing cosmetics on rabbits, or
injecting psychiatric patients with LSD in the name of research.
Our governments are bad, and particulary the parties that use the government to
solidify their brand across the country are beyond bad.
Parties can be like a good lover, but then they leave you in the night leaving
you naked and ashamed. You are now useless.
I tell everyone, we are the Radical Marijuana Party.
Radical is because we are different.
Marijuana is because of the persecution that has accompanied the herb.
Some of us yet are persecuted for our beliefs. Many of our compatriots sit in
prisons waiting for justice that never comes.
They were put there by the other parties, not us.
Pot just symbolizes the march towards freedom. nothing more, and nothing less.
It should be an individuals right to ingest or smoke what they like.
Our governments do not ban diabetics from buying sugar. Diabetics cost the
health care system actual dollars and cents. Ambulance rides when they are in a
diabetic coma are expensive. There is no license required to buy sugar. We as a
collective society pay the excessive costs of their diabetes.
So, why is it this way? I will agree with Blair, it is lies, and more lies,
backed by violence and more deceit. That is the answer.
If it were up to all Canadians to vote on pot, I believe the numbers would be
staggering in favour of a new system.
Perhaps this should be added to the ballott in the next election as a referendum
of sorts.
This would at least allow the population to decide instead of some well heeled
peole in parliament who have no desire to change anything unless it is of
benefit to themselves.
Just look, all those MP's get drugs covered by us, get pensions paid by
us(shit..we have to work until 65, those pricks will retire after a few short
years in office, and we are the ones paying their pensions! Ha..I have no RRSP,
Mutual funds or nothing, but I must pay taxes for other people to retire...just
not myself.
So, I say, Blair is right, the country really is run by pirates.
The ones that are about to get a gold plated pension because of OUR hard
work...not theirs.
Fuck pirates...Vote Radical Marijuana!
