Goodbye Friend It was a beautiful service and not to the surprise of many, hundreds showed up to mourn the loss of a very special person. Many of our questions were answered thanks to the thoughtful presentation by Morgan's friends and family at the memorial. It was profoundly considerate of Morgan's family to share his personal journals in an endeavor to comfort us while they suffered the greatest sorrow. Morgan had been our friend for about 9 years, and we knew him to be a kind and gentle person with much wisdom, understanding and modesty for one so young. Oh yeah, and a great musician and all around cool guy!!! As Morgan knew, my son unwittingly gave him a knick name in our home several years ago when Morgan came to the door and I called down to my son "who is it?" He replied, "It's the dude with the stale hair" James had the great fortune of seeing Morgan on Friday June 9th. He stopped in to say goodbye. He said he was going away, but didn't really elude to what he might have meant. Goodbye then Morgan...I'm sorry we missed bowling night One Year Later... We would like to thank Morgan's family and friends for making Morgan's birthday memorial a memorable occasion. It was an excellent opportunity to witness the diversity of personalities and musical interests of many different people brought together by one common thread, namely Morgan Kijewski. The musical performances were awesome, and although I arrived just after the slide show presentation, I heard it was great and I'm sorry to have missed it. Thank You Mike, Nancy, Liam & Olivia |
